Key responsibilities
Manage enquiries from international agents.
Develop and execute strategies to improve international agent engagement and performance.
Drive joint marketing efforts and promote rates to international agents
Provide regular follow-ups and updates to management on international business trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities.
Maintain records of international agents
Meet the target and/or Key Performance Index set by the Management for international agent market sector.
Negotiate with carriers and service providers for competive costs to provide effective quotations to international agents.
Effective communications with the Operations team , to ensure smooth handling of nominated shipments by international agents.
Prepare monthly reports on business sales volumes performance for international agents business.
Working Conditions
Fast-paced office environment with frequent emails and phone communications
May require occasional extended hours
Interaction with customers, vendors, and international partners at different time zones
Opportunity to travel regionally and internationally.
Job requirements
Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
2+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, and customer service
Strong knowledge of logistics process (seafreight environment is a plus)
Familiarity with customs regulations and international trade compliance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and multilingual is preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Customer service orientation with problem-solving capabilities
