About the role

Join the creative team at KWENG HONG PACKAGING INDUSTRY SDN BHD as a Graphic Designer. In this full-time position based in Sungai Petani, Kedah, you will be responsible for designing impactful and visually appealing packaging and marketing materials for our diverse range of clients. As a key member of our design department, you will play a vital role in enhancing our brand identity and delivering high-quality solutions that drive business growth.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conceptualise and design packaging layouts, logos, branding elements, and other visual assets that effectively communicate client brand messaging
  2. Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to understand client requirements and translate them into innovative design concepts
  3. Prepare production-ready artwork and ensure designs meet technical specifications
  4. Maintain an up-to-date portfolio of your work and contribute to the continuous improvement of our design processes
  5. Stay informed of industry trends and best practices to enhance the visual impact of our clients' products

What we're looking for

  1. Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
  2. Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a graphic design role, preferably within the packaging or print industry
  3. Proficient in using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  4. Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to generate fresh ideas and visuals
  5. Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for typography, colour, and composition
  6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  7. Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders
