Job Description
1. Tax Compliance
  • Prepare and review corporate tax computations and tax returns.
  • Ensure timely submission of monthly/quarterly tax filings (e.g., SST, withholding tax).
  • Manage tax payments and maintain proper documentation for audit trails.
  • Liaise with external tax agents and auditors on compliance matters.
2. Tax Advisory & Planning
  • Provide tax advisory support on business activities, transactions, and new projects.
  • Assist in tax planning initiatives to minimize tax exposure and take advantage of incentives.
  • Evaluate tax implications of cross-border transactions and transfer pricing.
3. Tax Audit & Investigation
  • Handle tax audits, queries, and investigations initiated by tax authorities.
  • Prepare supporting documents and manage communication between the company and tax regulators.
  • Resolve tax issues in a timely and compliant manner.
4. Internal Control & Compliance
  • Review internal processes to ensure tax compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Implement improvements to tax procedures and controls.
  • Ensure compliance with the Income Tax Act, SST Act, and other relevant regulations.
5. Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare tax-related reports for management, including tax forecasts and provisions.
  • Review deferred tax calculations for financial reporting.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities from a tax perspective.

Ad-Hoc Job Tasks

  • Coordinate overseas entities' accounts receivable, payable, assets, expenses, and general ledger business accounting work for free online.
  • Ensure monthly closing related works are completed on schedule. Such as bank reconciliation, Intercompany reconciliation.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by superior.
Requirements:
  • Possess Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Financial Management or equivalent.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience in the Finance/Accounting/Tax related position. Preferable in a fast-paced manufacturing industry.
  • Familiar with local financial, accounting and tax regulations in Malaysia.
  • Possess ACCA, Certified Public Accountant qualification certificate or Tax Agent qualification certificate is preferred.

  • Able to communicate in Mandarin, English & Malay language. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ambition, able to handle corresponding work pressure.
  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and other desktop applications.
  • Willing relocate to our new manufacturing plant at Karangan, Kedah in Q4 2025.
