Position Overview

Role Purpose

The Retail Assistant is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing food and beverages according to ChicknCone standards, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, and supporting outlet operations to achieve sales targets. This role represents the face of the brand and ensures that every customer has a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities & Detailed Duties

A. Customer Service

  • Greet customers warmly and provide menu recommendations.

  • Take orders accurately using the POS system.

  • Ensure quick and friendly service at all times.

  • Handle customer inquiries and escalate any complaints to the Team Leader.

B. Food Preparation & Quality Control

  • Prepare food and beverages according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.

  • Maintain food safety standards, including correct storage temperatures and handling procedures.

  • Ensure portion control to minimize wastage.

C. Cashiering & Sales Support

  • Process customer payments via cash or electronic transactions.

  • Promote upselling of combo meals, add-ons, and seasonal promotions.

  • Issue receipts and maintain accurate cash handling.

D. Store Cleanliness & Hygiene

  • Perform cleaning duties for dining area, kitchen, counters, and equipment.

  • Ensure compliance with Halal, HACCP, and ChicknCone hygiene standards.

  • Dispose waste properly and follow recycling procedures.

E. Inventory Support

  • Assist in stock receiving and verify quantities.

  • Refill condiments, napkins, disposable packaging, and utensils.

  • Notify Team Leader of low stock levels.

F. Team Collaboration

  • Work cooperatively with team members to meet daily operational goals.

  • Participate in shift briefings and follow instructions from the Team Leader.

  • Assist in opening and closing procedures as assigned.

Working Conditions & Mobility

  • Requires shift work, weekends, and public holidays.

  • Mandatory relocation based on company operational needs.

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
