Job Summary

The Product Executive will be responsible for leading and executing the end-to-end process of new product development (NPD) across the Total Beauty category, which includes personal care, fragrances, and colour cosmetics. This role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors to conceptualize, develop, and launch products that meet market trends and consumer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. New Product Development & Launch Execution

    • Lead product development initiatives from concept to launch for assigned beauty categories.

    • Identify market gaps and opportunities through research, trend analysis, and competitive benchmarking.

    • Define product specifications, pricing strategy, production timelines, and go-to-market plans.

    • Work closely with R&D, supply chain, and manufacturing to ensure timely product development.
  2. Marketing & Launch Planning

    • Develop marketing plans to support the introduction of new products.

    • Coordinate with design, communications, and sales teams to align on product positioning and messaging.

    • Prepare product decks, briefs, and launch presentations for internal and external use.
  3. Brand & Product Strategy

    • Monitor and analyze product performance post-launch and recommend adjustments or improvements.

    • Formulate and execute marketing strategies for brand growth and product lifecycle management.

    • Ensure alignment with overall brand identity, tone, and positioning.
  4. Promotions & Sales Enablement

    • Plan and evaluate monthly promotional mechanics, forecast volume, and review costing.

    • Collaborate with the sales team to develop trade marketing tools and in-store materials.
  5. Data & Insights

    • Track and analyze consumer behavior, market trends, and competitor activities.

    • Utilize insights to inform product innovation and marketing decisions.

    • Report on KPIs related to new product performance, marketing ROI, and brand health.
  6. Project Coordination & Cross-functional Collaboration

    • Manage cross-functional project timelines involving product, marketing, sales, and supply chain.

    • Liaise with external agencies, suppliers, and partners to ensure smooth execution of development plans.
Job Requirements


• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Marketing, or a related discipline.

• 2–3 years of experience in product or brand development within the beauty/personal care industry.

• Strong understanding of NPD processes and marketing fundamentals; knowledge of product formulation or packaging is an added advantage.

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and/or Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• A collaborative team player with a results-focused mindset and strong consumer awareness.
