Job Summary:

The Service Operator (with GDL) is responsible for performing product refilling, cleaning, and basic maintenance of Coffeebot vending machines while supporting stock movement and delivery operations. This role requires a General Driving License (GDL) as it involves driving company vehicles for product delivery, movement of machines, and servicing routes. The Service Operator plays a vital role in ensuring all vending machines are operating efficiently, clean, and consistently stocked to meet customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:1. Machine Servicing & Maintenance

  • Conduct regular refilling, cleaning, and basic maintenance of coffee vending machines according to the assigned route.
  • Check and ensure machine performance, cleanliness, and product quality meet company standards.
  • Report any machine issues, breakdowns, or missing parts promptly to the Area Supervisor or Technical team.
  • Perform simple troubleshooting (e.g., clearing powder blockage, checking temperature or water flow).
  • Ensure proper waste disposal and hygiene practices at every service location.

2. Product & Stock Handling

  • Load, unload, and transport beverage ingredients, cups, and other consumables to vending machine locations.
  • Record and update stock usage, wastage, and replenishment data accurately after each service.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of all products to maintain freshness and quality.
  • Assist in checking product expiry dates and report any issues to the warehouse or supervisor.

3. Delivery & Logistics Support

  • Drive company vehicle (van/lorry) with valid GDL license to deliver products, machines, and parts as assigned.
  • Assist in moving or relocating vending machines and supporting equipment between client sites or warehouses.
  • Support the warehouse team for loading/unloading activities when needed.
  • Ensure all delivery activities are properly documented (e.g., DO, movement forms, or return slips).
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform basic vehicle checks, and report any vehicle issues to the supervisor.

4. Customer & Site Coordination

  • Represent Coffeebot professionally at all customer locations.
  • Communicate courteously with clients or site representatives regarding machine servicing schedules or issues.
  • Report any customer feedback or complaints to the supervisor immediately for follow-up action.

5. Safety, Compliance & Reporting

  • Follow all company SOPs and safety procedures during machine servicing and delivery activities.
  • Ensure proper use of company assets (machines, vehicles, and equipment).
  • Submit daily service logs, route updates, and delivery documentation accurately and on time.
  • Participate in periodic performance checks and stock audits as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
  • Possess a valid GDL license (Goods Driving License) and clean driving record.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in service, logistics, or delivery-related roles (vending or FMCG industry preferred).
  • Physically fit to handle product loading and machine movement.
  • Basic technical knowledge of vending machines or willingness to learn.
  • Able to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple sites daily.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,900.00 per month
