About the Role

We are seeking a Backend Developer to join our team working on IoT monitoring systems. You will build APIs, process sensor data, and develop backend services that support our monitoring platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services and APIs
  • Process and transform sensor data
  • Build data pipelines and integrations
  • Work with databases and optimise performance
  • Implement business logic and workflows
  • Integrate with third-party services
  • Write clean, maintainable code

Requirements

  • 2+ years backend development experience
  • Strong programming skills (Python preferred)
  • API development experience
  • SQL and database knowledge
  • Git version control
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills

Nice to Have

  • AWS cloud services experience
  • Django or similar Python web frameworks
  • Data processing or ETL experience
  • PHP/Laravel knowledge
  • IoT or time-series data experience
  • Experience with large datasets
  • Database stored procedures or migration experience
