JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 2 - 4 years working experience in accounting.
  • Proficient in AutoCount and CRM system.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Accounts Payable (AP)

  2. Handle supplier invoices: verification, matching (PO/DO/Invoice), and posting.

  3. Process supplier payments (online transfer, GIRO and TT).
  4. Maintain AP aging report and ensure timely payments.
  5. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
  6. Monitor recurring expenses, utilities, and rental payments.

  7. Accounts Receivable (AR)

  8. Issue customer invoices and credit notes.

  9. Monitor AR aging and follow up on outstanding payments.
  10. Update customer receipts and maintain proper documentation.
  11. Coordinate with Sales/Project team for billing matters.

  12. General Ledger (GL) & Month-End Closing

  13. Prepare monthly journal entries (accruals, prepayments, depreciation, etc.)

  14. Maintain accurate and updated GL records.
  15. Assist in month-end closing and prepare financial schedules.

  16. Banking & Cash Flow

  17. Handle daily bank reconciliation.

  18. Update cashbook and monitor cash flow position.
  19. Prepare weekly/monthly cash flow reports.

  20. Audit, Tax & Compliance

  21. Assist Manager to handle external auditors during annual audit.

  22. Ensure timely submission of SST returns and other statutory requirements.
  23. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

  24. Administrative & Reporting

  25. Prepare management reports (profit & loss, balance sheet schedules, AP/AR analysis).

  26. Maintain proper filing of accounting documents.
  27. Support management for any ad-hoc financial analysis.

  28. Other Responsibilities

  29. Liaise with banks, suppliers, customers, auditors, and government authorities.

  30. Assist in system improvement and process enhancement.
  31. Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by Finance Manager/Director.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3, RM3,500.00 per month
