Summary:

We are seeking an experienced
Senior Java Developer
with strong expertise in
Spring Boot
and proven experience in the
insurance domain
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend systems and RESTful APIs. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and secure enterprise solutions that support insurance operations and digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable
    Java-based backend services
    using
    Spring Boot
    ,
    Spring MVC
    ,
    Spring Data JPA
    , and related frameworks.
  • Participate in
    end-to-end software development
    lifecycle — from requirements gathering, analysis, design, coding, testing, to deployment.
  • Work closely with
    business analysts and product owners
    to translate insurance business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain
    RESTful APIs
    for integration with front-end systems, third-party services, and enterprise applications.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure
    high availability

  • Implement
    microservices architecture
    and integrate with
    cloud platforms
    such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Write and maintain

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Computer Science
    ,
    Information Technology
    , or a related field.
  • 6–10 years
    of professional experience in
    Java development
    .
  • Strong hands-on expertise with
    Spring Boot
    ,
    Spring Framework
    ,
    Hibernate/JPA
    , and
    REST API development
    .
  • Experience with
    Microservices architecture
    ,
    Docker
    , and
    Kubernetes
    .
  • Solid understanding of
    insurance domain concepts
    — such as policy management, claims processing, underwriting, billing, and customer lifecycle.
  • Proficient in working with
    SQL/NoSQL databases
    (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with
    messaging systems
    (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and

    technologies.
  • Strong understanding of
    design patterns
