Role: Design Engineer

Salary range: 3K to 3.5K

Work Arrangements: Mon – Sat (9 AM to 6PM)

Tenure: Permanent

GENERAL SUMMARY

Research, develop, and improve product designs while ensuring technical compliance, efficiency, and alignment with project requirements.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Report directly to the Head of Department on key issues and developments.
  • Review project requirements and technical specifications from clients.
  • Assess technical submissions from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure project completion within contractual timeframes and budget.
  • Monitor project quality to meet customer technical specifications.
  • Review design criteria, compile technical documents, and align with authority guidelines.
  • Identify engineering issues and recommend viable solutions.
  • Research, design, and develop new products and concepts.
  • Create virtual design models using engineering software tools.
  • Assess materials and production costs to determine manufacturing feasibility.
  • Present and demonstrate product prototypes for client approval.
  • Evaluate functionality, safety, and design practicality of products.
  • Assist HOD in value engineering and proposing alternative design solutions.
  • Liaise with internal departments and authorities to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Verify completeness and accuracy of civil and structural drawings.
  • Update drawing progress on alternate days.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Candidates must possess at least Diploma/Bachelor's Degree/Professional Certificate in Civil Engineering or related.

· MS Office, MS Project, AUTO CAD and others.

· At least 2 years of working experience in the related field.

· Able to work for 6 working days (Monday to Saturday - 9 AM to 6PM) at Puchong Headquarters.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM3,500.00 per month
