Our client Classic Fine Foods Sdn Bhd is seeking a Sales Executive – Pastry Category to join their team

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a sales professional with a passion for pastry and a knack for driving sales growth. You'll be responsible for achieving targeted sales growth for a specific category of product, managing a range of products, and working closely with the sales manager and suppliers to develop effective sales strategies.

What you'll be doing?
  • Achieve Sales Growth: You'll be responsible for achieving targeted sales growth for a specific category of product.
  • Manage Products: You'll manage a range of products, conduct daily sales visits, and ensure achievement of required sales and profit margin targets.
  • Identify Opportunities: You'll identify sales opportunities by using market knowledge and work closely with the sales manager and suppliers to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Provide Solutions: You'll be able to identify a need and recommend the right product for each customer, growing or increasing usage of current pastry products.
  • Support Sales: You'll take responsibility for team knowledge throughout the category, regularly help other members of the sales team to develop their knowledge on pastry products.
  • Manage Stock: You'll propose sales forecasts for the specific category, be aware of supply schedule and stock position, and anticipate and propose solutions to avoid/fix stock issues.
  • Maintain Customer Satisfaction: You'll work on high-level customer satisfaction, communicate and coordinate with other resources to meet and exceed customer satisfaction, and proactively check products quality/availability to avoid complaints.
  • Gather Market Intelligence: You'll have advanced knowledge of market situation, trends, and opportunities in the pastry category, and be proactive in collecting feedback from the field.
  • Reporting: You'll record daily customer visits in required format and provide reports based on management requirements.
Who are they looking for?
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and kitchen is preferred.
  • Knowledge: Deep pastry product knowledge, technical knowledge, as well as market situation and trends.
  • Passion: Passion for fine food and gastronomy.
  • Skills: Welcomes challenge, has a passion for results, responsible and dedicated, creative initiative, good problem-solving skills, team player, excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Language: Proficiency in English is required to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
