Brief Job Description: 

Job Summary:

Vertiv is seeking a motivated O&M Engineer with 2 years of experience in electrical or mechanical systems maintenance. The role involves supporting the design, operation, and maintenance of mission-critical infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance of data center systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Maintenance:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor system performance and report anomalies.

Technical Support:

  • Support senior engineers in preparing SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs.
  • Participate in testing and commissioning (T&C) activities.
  • Assist in documentation and reporting for audits and compliance.

Project Involvement:

  • Contribute to small-scale infrastructure upgrades and installations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance activities.
  • Ensure work is completed according to safety and quality standards.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Follow established procedures and safety protocols.
  • Maintain records for inspections and maintenance logs.
  • Support internal and external audits.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in operations and maintenance, preferably in data centers or critical facilities.

Skills:

  • Basic understanding of electrical systems (HV/MV/LV), HVAC, and UPS.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergencies.
