User Interface / User Experience Designer

  1. JOB DESCRIPTION

The UI/UX Designer will design an intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly interface for software products. This involves working closely with developers and other stakeholders to understand user needs and create solutions that enhance the overall user experience.

  1. SCOPE

  2. Design and prototype user interfaces for software applications, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience across web, mobile, and other platforms.

  3. Conduct user research and usability testing and gather feedback to inform design decisions and improve product usability.

  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define user requirements, wireframes, and design specifications.

  5. Create visual designs that align with brand guidelines and enhance the product's aesthetic appeal, including layout, colour schemes, typography, and icons.

  6. Iterate designs based on user feedback, stakeholder input, and emerging design trends.

  7. Work closely with developers to ensure the feasibility and implementation of design solutions, providing support throughout the development process.

  8. Communicate design concepts and rationale effectively to stakeholders, including presenting design solutions and providing design documentation.

  9. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  10. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.

  11. Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design projects and process.

  12. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar prototyping tools

  13. Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.

  14. Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on design implementation.

  15. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with project teams.

  16. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  17. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. v
