Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • To give advisory on replanting and mechanization initiatives to the estates.

  • As a consultant for replanting program and prepare the blueprint.

  • To develop new projects and/or programs to enhance departmental portfolio.

  • Assess site yield potential, identify their limitations and suggest the practical improvement measures.

  • Communication with plantation management on the finding / updates from all agronomical aspects.

  • Provide a site specific fertilizer recommendation for FGV / FELDA as well as external customers to achieve sustainable oil palm production.

  • Engage and provide training / technical advisory services / technical support and after sales service to FGV/FELDA group also oil palm seed buyers and related external parties.

  • To do statistically works & analysis for yield prediction and assessment.

  • Conduct field visit and area suitability assessment for oil palm and other crops.
