About the role

Iconic Electrical Solutions is seeking an experienced Wireman to join our growing team in Kuching, Sarawak. As a full-time Wireman, you will play a vital role in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems across a range of commercial and industrial projects.

What you'll be doing

  1. Installing, testing and commissioning electrical wiring, switchgear, and other electrical components
  2. Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues to ensure efficient and safe operation of electrical systems
  3. Adhering to all relevant safety standards and regulations
  4. Collaborating with project managers, electricians, and other tradespeople to coordinate work activities
  5. Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all electrical work performed
  6. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Formal training and qualifications in Electrical
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Wireman or Electrician, preferably in the commercial and industrial sectors
  3. Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, installation and maintenance practices
  4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
  5. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
