SITE SAFETY SUPERVISOR

Full time

Location: Ministry of Defence Malaysia (MINDEF), Kuala Lumpur

Salary: RM 2,500 Up To RM3,000

Contract Period: Until Completion of project

Working Days: Monday – Friday / Saturday

Working Hours: 8.00am - 5pm / 8.00am – 1.00pm

Job Descriptions

  • Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health/Environmental Control regulations and statutory requirements
  • Follow up with the committee site walk inspection findings for WSH Officer to close up the report and assisting WSH Officer on incident/accident investigation.
  • Responsible for daily checklists are properly documented and carry out mass toolbox meeting once a week.
  • Coordination with relevant site in-charge on improving the worksite safety and cleanliness.
  • Ensure supervisors and workers are following safe work procedures compliance.
  • Assist WSHO to organize monthly Safety Committee meetings and put up safety reports, including safety issues.
  • Compiles all relevant reports and records and carry out daily safety inspection.
  • Supervise all workers in providing safety measures and procedures in accordance with MOM Regulations.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior from time to time

Requirement:

  • Min 3 year experience in construction engineering.
  • Diploma in workplace safety or equivalent / SSS Certificate (Site Safety Supervisor)
  • Effectively enforce policies, rules and regulation.
  • Accept responsibility for compliance with rules and regulations.
  • Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability.
  • Ability to work under pressures in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to start work on short notice
