BUILDING SERVICES (All SERVICES - MECHANICAL, FIRE, ELECTRICAL, HYDRAULIC)

DESIGN ENGINEER / DESIGN DRAFTER / BIM MODELLER

(AUTOCAD AND/OR REVIT)

BCA Technology is expanding, and we are looking for Design Engineers / BIM Modellers to fill in the positions in all services.

The successful candidates can be working at our established Johor Iskandar office or at our new Kuala Lumpur office, subject to the discussion at the interview.

Applicants with relevant experience in the field as Design Engineers, Drafters, or BIM Modellers proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit are encouraged to apply.

The successful applicant will be working with Directors, Principal Engineers, and Design Managers to deliver high quality drawings and design documentation for a variety of building projects in Australia.

Remuneration will be based on negotiations with the successful applicant commensurate with experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Undertake technical drawing production and modelling activities for the relevant Services and be responsible to ensure the accuracy and quality of your work to company standards.
  • Facilitate the coordination on projects and undertake clash detection to address coordination issues in the model.
  • Effectively communicate and discuss with Principal Engineer / Design Manager to resolve the design issues.

Job Requirements:

  • We are hiring across all levels.

  • Candidates with a recognized diploma or degree in engineering, design, drafting, or related field are encouraged to apply. We value relevant industry experience in areas such as technical drawing production, BIM modelling, or other related engineering disciplines.

  • Experience in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Navisworks, and BIM360 is a plus.
  • Proficient knowledge of relevant industry BIM standards and protocols is also welcomed.
  • Able to work in a team and/or independently without supervision.
  • Able to communicate effectively.
