About the role

At PLT Scientific Sdn Bhd, we are seeking a talented Product Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a full-time role based in Selangor, you will be responsible for driving the sales and success of our innovative scientific products and solutions.

What you'll be doing

1.To promote the products line assigned nationwide and to make sure its steady growth from year to year

2.To works out specific sales and marketing strategies for the brand concerned

3.To works out standard price list and make sure the pricing dictated are competitive in the market

4.To constantly study the competitors products and make a comparison table for internal use

5.To perform & conduct seminar & workshop at universities, research institutions , hotel seminar room… To achieve set targets on each products assigned

7.To constantly monitor the inventory level of each products assigned and to perform old stock clearance if necessary

8.To support dealer and end user teams for products presentation and demonstration

9.To provide specific products sales training to those dealer assigned as territory business partners

10.To update new products into the market by bulletin or newsletter

11.To help plan monthly product promotion activities

12.To handle all email correspondence from principals

What we're looking for

  • Proven track record of success in a sales or business development role, preferably within the scientific industries
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly understand and effectively communicate complex scientific concepts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams
  • Degree in Bachelor's Degree/Post- Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Science & Technology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Cell imaging or Life Science
  • At least 2 years of working experience in this related field is required for this position.
  • Willingness to travel within the region to meet with customers and attend industry events
