We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Manager/Accountant to join the team at Red6 Labels Sdn Bhd. In this full-time role based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting processes.
What you'll be doing
Job Responsibilities
- Perform overall day to day accounting & finance functions.
- Perform month-end and year-end closings, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- To handle e-invoicing accounting matters and ensure works compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures
- Liaise with auditors and tax consultants to provide necessary documentation and support during audits.
- Review and improve internal controls management information system and accounting systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop budgets and financial forecasts and perform in-depth financial analysis and reporting to support management in strategic planning and decision-making.
- Oversee the inventory and HR departments.
Requirements:
- Possess a Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in the retail industry
- Proficiency in fundamental accounting principles and taxation matters.
- Computer literate and knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and any accounting software
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to lead a team and work independently
