CW Test Equipment Technician

Job Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assemble and build in-house equipment for Coherent.
• Troubleshoot and debug faulty in-house equipment.
• Setup and deployment of in-house equipment.
• To provide technical support for issues concerning in-house equipment.
• Assembly of kits into finished working equipment ready for deployment to production.
• Maintain tracking of BOM to ensure no interuption of build.
• Troubleshooting and repairing of these in-house build equipments.
• Maintain tracking of resolutions of faults from these in-house built equipment.
• Ensure compliance to Safety, ESD, Cleanroom and Housekeeping guidelines.
• Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
• Derive Continual Improvement. Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of task.
• Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical and Electronics or Mechanical)
• At least 1 year experience in related industry and in mass production environment. Candidates without appropriate experience may be accepted by the hiring manager subject to job nature, availability of buddy, duration of learning, etc
• With good computer literacy, good communication skill and reporting of information/ data.
