Work you'll do

The ECC Data Insights DevSecOps Engineer plays a key role in designing, developing, and implementing software and cloud solutions to meet the data needs of the ECC Data Insights team. This includes creating data warehouses, developing data ingestion and transformation pipelines, building web interfaces, and integrating with monitoring systems. Collaborating closely with the ECC Data Insights Data Analysis team, this position supports solutions that utilize operational data to help teams identify improvement opportunities and track key performance metrics.

The role emphasizes adherence to Deloitte's established security protocols and best practice software design principles. It leverages cloud serverless computing as a standard, with automated monitoring and recovery processes integrated wherever possible. All software development follows the SAFE Agile methodology. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with software development using C#, Python, and/or PowerShell.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills using traditional languages, such as, Python, C# and or PowerShell.
• Understanding of software development on cloud platforms, specifically serverless to include Azure and AWS.
• Experience with SQL and noSQL data base technology.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) deployment pipeline and GIT.
• Understanding of SAFE Agile project management process and teams.
• Understanding of the Secure Software Development Life Cycle.
• Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, possess a strong work ethic with a natural enthusiasm for technology.
• Team player with excellent consultative and communication skills, and a proven ability to work effectively with internal colleagues.
• Superior service delivery skills and "can do" attitude.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-year related work experience.
• Basic understanding of Docker Containers a plus.
