Job Description

  • Plan, implement, set up new aldon and test environments together with vendors based on project needs and EPF methodology.
  • Collaborate with vendors, developers, and QA to ensure environment readiness and security compliance.
  • Perform environment provisioning, configuration, patching, and maintenance.
  • Resolve environment and data issues during testing cycles (SIT/UAT).
  • Manage tester access and ensure environment availability.
  • Extract, mask, and provision test data using tools (e.g., IBM Optim).
  • Support the IBM Optim upgrade by working with vendors to meet the timeline.

Experience

  • Strong AS/400 / IBM iSeries Knowledge – Hands-on experience in system administration, CL scripting, job management, backups, and PTF handling.
  • Aldon Change Management Expertise – Proficient in managing code promotions, version control, workflows, and troubleshooting within Aldon (LMi).
  • Environment Provisioning & Maintenance – Skilled in setting up, configuring, and maintaining iSeries test environments for SIT/UAT.
  • Test Data Management (Preferred IBM Infosphere Optim tool) – Experienced in extracting, masking, and refreshing test data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection standards.
  • Collaboration & Issue Resolution – Effective communicator in cross-functional teams, resolving environment issues quickly during test cycles.
