Position Summary

This role leads Valiram's digital media and performance marketing engine across multiple markets and brands – from luxury fashion and beauty to gourmet retail and F&B. The Manager / Senior Manager serves as the strategic bridge between Valiram's internal marketing teams and the external media agency, ensuring every ringgit spent delivers measurable business growth. This is a role for a strategist who also thrives on precision – equally comfortable shaping a regional media strategy and dissecting a GA4 dashboard.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of digital media and performance marketing for Valiram's portfolio of brands across markets, covering upper, mid and lower funnel objectives.
  • Manage the appointed media agency to deliver high-performing media plans, ensuring accountability on ROI, ROAS, Spends and Budgets.
  • Partner closely with brand marketing managers and ecommerce teams to align campaign objectives, messaging and creative direction with business goals.
  • Oversee paid media across all channels including paid social, search, display and programmatic – ensuring best-in-class audience segmentation, targeting and tracking.
  • Review and validate monthly performance reports; translate insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Maintain full visibility and control of media budgets – tracking performance against plan, prior month and prior year.
  • Secure internal approvals for media spends and present performance updates and recommendations to senior leadership and directors.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of GA4 and other tracking technologies across brands and platforms.
  • Build a culture of analytical thinking and media excellence within the team and agency partners.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or equivalent.
  • 6–10 years' experience in performance marketing or digital media, ideally with exposure to retail, ecommerce or agency-side portfolio management.
  • Deep understanding of digital platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, programmatic, etc.) and analytics tools, specifically GA4.
  • Proven experience managing a media agency and multi-market campaigns.
  • Strong financial acumen in budget management and ROI analysis.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Experience with omnichannel or offline attribution is an advantage.
