About the role

EPG Data Center Module SDN. BHD. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced ESH Officer to join our team in Senai, Johor. As an ESH Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's environmental, safety, and health standards are upheld to the highest level. This is a full-time role that will allow you to make a meaningful impact on the organization and the local community.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive environmental, safety, and health policies and procedures
2. Conducting risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards
3. Providing training and guidance to employees on proper safety practices and procedures
4. Investigating accidents and incidents, and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental, safety, and health regulations
6. Collaborating with internal departments and external stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility
7. Maintaining detailed records and reports on the company's environmental, safety, and health performance

What we're looking for

1. Green Book holder with minimum 2 years of experience as an ESH Officer or in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry
2. Degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, or a related field
3. Thorough knowledge of environmental, safety, and health regulations and best practices
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues proactively
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels
6. Proficient in the use of relevant software and technology for data management and reporting
7. A proactive, detail-oriented, and safety-focused mindset
8. Candidate with CePSWaM competencies is an added advantage
