About the role

As a Technician Surveillance at Pronet', you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's technical operations. This full-time position is based in Kuantan, Pahang and involves ensuring the efficient and reliable performance of the company's surveillance systems and equipment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conduct regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of surveillance cameras, recording devices, and other related equipment
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or malfunctions in a timely manner
  3. Assist in the installation and configuration of new surveillance systems and equipment
  4. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and system performance
  5. Collaborate with the broader technical team to identify opportunities for system improvements and enhancements
  6. Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant diploma or certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical field
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar technician or maintenance role, preferably in the surveillance or security industry
  3. Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve a range of technical issues
  4. Familiarity with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of surveillance systems and equipment
  5. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  6. Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the wider team
