About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Assistant to join our team at Miroza Leather (M) Sdn Bhd in Balakong, Selangor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for supporting the Merchandising department in ensuring the seamless presentation and efficient management of our product offerings.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of merchandising strategies and visual displays across our retail stores
  • Collaborate with the Merchandising team to ensure product placement, pricing, and promotions are executed accurately and on time
  • Maintain inventory records, track product movements, and provide reports to support decision-making
  • Assist with the receiving, unpacking, and processing of new merchandise deliveries
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the in-store experience and maximize sales
  • Provide excellent customer service to store staff and address any merchandising-related inquiries or concerns

What we're looking for

  • 1-2 years of experience in a merchandising or retail support role, preferably within the fashion or lifestyle industry
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with numerical data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with store teams. Able to read and write in Mandarin is essential as this position need liaise with China Supplier
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, to manage data and create reports
  • A creative flair and the ability to think outside the box to enhance product presentation
  • A customer-focused mindset and the desire to contribute to the overall success of the business
