About the Job

To assist Head of Portfolio Underwriting & Strategy to support Underwriting department in terms of strategy via data driven approach and to centralized the reporting function for standardization of data/report output.

• Continue to require data analyst to drive underwriting and to come up with the right underwriting strategy in achieving.
• Formulating and execution of comprehensive portfolio strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
• Collaborating closely with product and underwriting heads to ensure the effective implementation of strategic initiatives tailored to various lines of business
• Constantly access market trends and dynamics to refine and adapt strategies for sustained growth and profitability.
• Leveraging data analytics to inform critical underwriting decisions.  Utilizing analytical tools to extract actionable insights from datasets
• Translating data findings into compelling narratives, highlighting portfolio trends, risk assessments and opportunities for growth
• Assisting on treaty renewal

We are looking for people with

• Preferably Actuarial and/or Statistics background.
• Having relevant insurance and underwriting exposure.
• Ability to communicate well and make decision with strong analytical skill.
• Familiar with the analytical tool such as SAS, SQL, IBA Sisense and Microsoft Excel.
• High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
• Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
