Engineer (CSA)

Job Description:

• Supervise, coordinate, and ensure delivery of all civil, structural and architectural (CSA) related activity / work packages the agreed design, methods, timescales, scope and quality requirements.
• Inspect on-site construction works to ensure compliance with design requirements and regulations.
• Co-ordinate complex design activities between client, internal design / construction teams, and sub-designers.
• Assesses any potential safety hazards on site whilst continually focusing on ways and methods of risk elimination through efficient construction design.
• Ensure that through good design, buildability and task sequencing all CSA related activities are achievable and clearly understood by the wider construction team.
• Implement a vast range of experience and knowledge of a broad range of engineering fields such as
• Planning Approvals, SuSTOM compliance, Building By-Laws, Standard Building Specification /

Requirements.

• Engage with the project delivery and design team to push for proactive resolutions to construction bottlenecks and day to day site operational issues pertinent to the constructability aspect of our projects.
• Suggest and implement cost-effective solutions and proposals, acting as the focal point for unexpected technical difficulties and other problems, ensuring that they are resolved in a timely manner.
• Participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• To prepare technical reports, method of works, quality control report for submission to relevant client or authorities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in construction and project management roles
• Competent in technical letter writing
• Strong fundamentals in engineering subject related to civil, structural and architectural terminology
• Literate with CAD Softwares / Drawings / Modelling
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or related engineering field of studies

Skills:

• Able to converse and write in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin is an added advantage.
