About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Supervisor (Electrical) to join our dynamic team at Tekpol Electrics Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur. As a Project Supervisor (Electrical), you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of our electrical engineering projects. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects within a supportive and collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinate and supervise the execution of electrical engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, budgets and timelines
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality and regulatory standards
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, including mentoring and developing junior staff
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Supervisor (Electrical) or in a similar role within the engineering industry
  • Thorough understanding of electrical engineering principles, design, installation and maintenance
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and the use of relevant software tools
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and leadership skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with local and international electrical engineering standards and regulations
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
