About the role
Are you an experienced Compensation & Benefits Specialist looking to join a dynamic and innovative organization? Hilti (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in payroll execution, designing and implementing competitive compensation and reward strategies for the entire organization.
What you'll be doing
- Timely execution of monthly payroll for about 220 employees
- Conducting annual market research and analysis to benchmark Hilti's compensation and benefits against industry standards
- Developing and administering compensation and reward programs, including base pay and bonuses
- Providing guidance and support to managers on compensation-related matters
- Monitoring and reviewing the effectiveness of compensation and reward programs, and recommending improvements
- Ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations
- Person in charge to liaise with third party vendor for expatriate management (entering and leaving the country) as well as insurance management for all employees
- Responsible for ensuring all employees' information are accurate in the Workday system
- Responsible for ensuring various payroll related reports and other required reports are prepared and updated in a timely manner
- Responsible to ensure all internal policies are up to date at all times
- Any other ad-hoc duties tasked
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Payroll execution as well as Compensation & Benefits management
- Excellent knowledge of compensation and benefits practices, as well as labor laws and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proactive and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on continuous improvement
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
