This role is responsible for strategizing, developing, and executing effective marketing and promotional initiatives that enhance mall branding, increase footfall, strengthen tenant and business partner relationships, and support revenue growth. The position oversees marketing planning, advertising, promotional activities, events, and mall occupancy for promotional spaces, ensuring brand consistency and optimal customer engagement.
Job Responsibilities: -
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing campaigns to promote the mall and its tenants.
- Plan and oversee promotional activities, events, festive campaigns, and seasonal programs to increase customer traffic and tenant sales.
Business Partner & Tenant Relations
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with tenants, business partners, vendors, and event organizers.
- Act as the main liaison for communication and marketing collaborations with tenants and partners to support mutual business growth.
Branding & Advertising
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels, including digital platforms, offline advertising, and in-mall promotional materials.
- Oversee media placements, advertising periods, and promotional content to enhance mall visibility.
Budget & Cost Management
- Manage the marketing and promotional budget effectively to ensure efficient spending and high return on investments.
- Monitor, negotiate, and review vendor and agency contracts when required.
Customer Insight & Market Analysis
- Analyze customer behavior trends, tenant sales data, and marketing performance to develop strategic recommendations.
- Conduct periodic reviews of mall promotional performance and propose improvement initiatives.
Mall Centre Court & Promotional Space Management
- Oversee mall centre court planning, layout, tenancy allocation, and occupancy to maximize revenue.
- Build partner interest and engagement to ensure full utilization of promotional areas.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Work closely with the Mall Operations, Leasing, Facilities, and Finance teams to align marketing objectives with overall mall strategies.
Additional Duties
- Perform other responsibilities as required by Management to support mall operations and organizational goals.
- Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to changing business needs.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or related field.
Minimum:
Senior Manager: 8–12 years of experience in marketing, preferably in retail malls or consumer-facing industries.
- Manager: 5–8 years of related marketing experience.
- Strong experience in campaign management, event planning, branding, tenant relations, and stakeholder communication.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- The candidate must be able to work in AEON Headquarters office at AEON Taman Maluri, Cheras.
