What you'll be doing?
  • Bid coordination: Coordinate, prepare, and compile bid submission documents for tendering activities, ensuring all requirements are met.
  • Cross-departmental collaboration: Organize and harness efforts from various departments related to tendering activities and contract reviews.
  • Customer liaison: Coordinate customer bid requirements within different departments, collating queries and requests for additional information.
  • Relationship building: Assist the Business Development & Tender department in cultivating strong relationships with existing and potential associates/customers.
  • Tender management: Vet incoming tenders, noting key dates and submission requirements to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
  • Information gathering: Collate tender information and references from various sources to support bid submissions.
  • Submission oversight: Monitor and ensure strict adherence to tender submission due dates, including final checks and preparation of outgoing submissions.
  • Quality control: Ensure tender submissions are standardized and in line with customer requirements, maintaining consistency in format and branding.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational background: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management, providing a solid foundation for the role.
  • Industry experience: Minimum of 3 years of working experience in pre-tender, bringing valuable insights to the position.
  • Responsibility: Demonstrated ability to complete tasks within set timelines, ensuring project deadlines are met.
  • Independence: Capable of working independently with minimal guidance, showing initiative and self-motivation.
  • Team player: All-rounder who can effectively collaborate with project team members, contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Language skills: Proficiency in Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu, and English to facilitate effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
