SCOPE OF ROLE:

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Digital Marketing Executive to lead the social media strategy and execution for Smart Traveller (ST) across the Southeast Asia (SEA) region. This role will be responsible for building brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty through impactful digital content and campaigns, supporting the brand's growth within the travel, lifestyle, and loyalty program space.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about digital trends, skilled in social media management, and have experience in digital advertising with a strong ability to stretch limited budgets for maximum exposure.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement a monthly digital content calendar tailored to Smart Traveller's SEA market, aligned with brand positioning and business goals.
  • Strategically integrate key events, campaigns, and partnerships (e.g., with banks, airlines, travel partners, corporate clients) into the content plan.
  • Manage and maintain all Smart Traveller social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Ensure consistent brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across platforms.
  • Plan and execute paid digital campaigns with a focus on performance, reach and ROI, even with limited budgets.
  • Track, monitor, and optimize campaign performance, providing reports and insights for continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with the Commercial team to align social media activities with new partner-led events, offers, and activations.
  • Coordinate with the Creative and Marketing team on the development of key visuals (KVs), copywriting, and captioning.
  • Ensure timely dissemination of updates, promotions, and announcements across digital platforms. Content Development.
  • Ideate and suggest engaging content themes, social media contests, and storytelling formats to drive engagement and user acquisition.
  • Provide guidance on social media captions, tone of voice, and creative direction.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree or diploma in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of proven experience in digital or social media marketing, preferably in lifestyle, travel, or loyalty programs.
  • Experience in managing online advertising platforms (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Google Ads, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of SEA digital consumer behavior and trends.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to create engaging content and adapt to different campaign needs.
  • Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Meta Insights, Google Analytics) to monitor and report on campaign performance.
  • Able to multitask and work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with performance marketing or growth marketing techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) is an added advantage.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in other SEA languages is a plus.
