AVP, Head of Partnership Distribution
Role Summary:
This is a Country leadership role reporting to the Country GM, with a matrix reporting to the Regional Chief Bancassurance Officer. The role holder will be responsible for leading and growing the Bancassurance, Broker and Financial Advisors channels, including leading locally any strategic initiatives in conjunction with other relevant stakeholders. This would include leading relationship management with our business partners, delivering on our sales and profitability targets, developing our distribution team and bench strength, as well as working with the rest of the Country senior leadership team deliver business objectives.
Key Results Areas:
Banca specific
- Responsible for developing plans and implementing & delivering operating results for key Banca partnerships.
- Achieving volume and profit targets for Banca partners
- Responsible for strategic planning and growth of the Banca business and new business opportunities.
- Build a strong relationship and sales team to deliver partnership objectives
- Be able to plan and implement key initiatives for developing Banca capabilities - Sales manager and sales staff training, lead generation, sales force automation, digital initiatives and analytics
- Develop new partnership to align with company strategy; Build strong relationships with partners at top management and branch levels in aiming to activate partners 'business in a solid manner
- Working with Product team to deliver new products and enhancing existing products to ensure that we have products mapped to the key segments of the bank partners.
- Responsible for managing risk and compliance for the bank partners sales process and sales activities
- Responsible for building a strong customer experience before, during and after the sale.
- Responsible for developing and implementing all strategies for Partnership Distribution including Bancassurance, Broker, and Financial Advisors in line with company's strategy
- Participate in strategic planning and contribute to growth of business
- Maintain and enhance business operating models to continuously improve the quality of the business and ensuring consistent growth and sustainability
- Develop new partnership to align with company strategy; Build strong relationships with partners at top management and branch levels in aiming to activate partners 'business in a solid manner
- Responsible for recruiting, developing and managing a highly competent and professional team to support sustainable growth.
- Responsible for working in collaboration with the various peer groups and inter-department to ensure the best service providing and partnership with banks
- Achieve budget projections for manpower, expenses, sales and premium consistently year over year.
Job Requirements
- Professional financial qualifications, marketing, business administration or related field
- At least 10 years of experience in financial industry, refer sales distribution management
- Competent knowledge & skills in business operational planning & organizing
- Strong strategic and business acumen skills
- Strong ability to work with others in developing and executing on roadmaps
- Good relationship development and management skills
- Proven leadership and people management track record
- Ability to use influencing skills effectively in complex partnership environment
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, proficiency in English
- Seniority and maturity to be a credible counterparty to Country GMs and partner senior
- Excellence in communication skills
- Willingness to travel a material amount of time
- Good sense of industrial market situation is preferable.
