Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate lorries of various sizes
  • Plan delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Load and unload
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or damage.
  • Maintain accurate mileage logs.
  • Comply with road safety laws and transport regulations.
  • Keep vehicles clean and in good operating condition.
  • Follow company policies and delivery procedures.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license appropriate for heavy and normal lorries (e.g., Class 1, Class 2, or local equivalent).
  • Clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a lorry driver, ideally with both heavy and light trucks.
  • Good knowledge of road safety regulations and vehicle maintenance.
  • Ability to handle physical work, including loading and unloading goods.
  • Strong time management and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or shifts if required.
