Position: Account Executive (AP - Shared Services)

Industry: Fintech

Working Duration: 12 months contract

Working Location: 1, First Avenue, Petaling Jaya, 47800, Selangor

Working Day/Hours: Monday – Friday; 10am – 7pm.

Salary: Basic up to RM4,000 (Based on experience + skills) with statutory contribution + leave entitlement + medical insurance

Job Summary:

The Account Coordinator supports the Accounts Payable team by handling daily transaction processing, resolving inquiries, ensuring compliance with AP controls, and assisting with process improvements. The role includes generating performance reports, monitoring KPIs, and managing ad hoc tasks to maintain smooth AP operations.

Job Description:

  1. Support the Accounts Payable Team in delivering a professional and consistent service to stakeholders and resolving inquiries related to the Accounts Payable function.
  2. Perform various transaction-processing tasks, including investigation, issue resolution, and timely escalation when required.
  3. Ensure compliance with key controls within the Accounts Payable processes.
  4. Assist in identifying and supporting improvements or changes to systems and processes.
  5. Generate periodic performance reports to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  6. Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support operational efficiency.
  7. Undertake any other ad hoc assignments or additional responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance; minimum Advanced Diploma in Accounting
  2. Preferably 1–2 years of experience in a Shared Service Centre (SSC) Accounts Payable function or handling full-set accounts.
  3. Proficient computer skills, including basic ERP Finance systems and G-Suite.
  4. Good spoken and written English proficiency, Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage for operational needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience using Oracle ERP / Oracle Fusion is an advantage.
  2. Knowledge of Accounts Payable, particularly payment operations — is preferred.
  3. Fresh graduates or junior candidates with P2P (Procure-to-Pay) exposure are encouraged to apply.
