Senior Quality Engineer for A Contract Manufacturer (Home appliances, Business Machines,...)

The Project Quality Engineer will be responsible for leading advanced quality planning for new projects and products, ensuring the definition and implementation of quality control processes that meet or exceed customer expectations. Experience in NPI Stage is must

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a robust quality control system that aligns with both customer and project specifications
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure the smooth launch of new project platforms
  • Continuously monitor and analyze key quality indicators (such as MRB, External PPM, Customer Complaints, Customer CAR, etc.) to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of quality systems
  • Lead and coordinate internal teams to investigate the root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Conduct and lead customer process audits and visits for quality assessment purposes

Position Requirements:

  • A diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with knowledge of injection moulding
  • Over 6 years of experience in quality management within manufacturing environments, including at least 3 years in Product Quality Planning
  • Practical experience with quality systems and tools such as APQP, PPAP, 8D, SPC, etc.
  • Strong customer-facing experience in quality management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in Supplier Quality Management is an advantage.
