This role requires a developer leader who can architect scalable automation frameworks while managing a team of engineers to deliver robust, self-service provisioning capabilities.     What You'll Do:  Strategic Leadership & Architecture 

• Develop and execute enterprise-wide automation roadmaps aligned with business objectives 
• Design comprehensive automation frameworks for multi-tenant SaaS environments 
• Establish automation standards, best practices, and governance models 
• Ensure all provisioning processes maintain security and compliance requirements 
• Lead digital transformation initiatives for SaaS product delivery automations 

 Technical Implementation & Development 

• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform 
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment (Rundeck & Github actions or Jenkins) 
• Create custom automation scripts using Python, Go, or PowerShell 
• Architect solutions on Azure 
• Build automated rollback and disaster recovery capabilities 

 SaaS-Specific Automation Solutions 

• Create automated customer tenant provisioning workflows 
• Implement database schema creation and application configuration automation  
• Develop automated scaling solutions based on usage patterns and demand forecasting 
• Build APIs for service provisioning 
• Design security boundary establishment and multi-tenant isolation automation 

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and mentor a small team of automation engineers 
• Provide technical direction and professional development opportunities 
• Collaborate with DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Product teams 
• Establish partnerships with Security, Compliance, and Operations teams 
• Foster culture of continuous learning and innovation 

Monitoring & Optimization 

• Implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems 
• Conduct regular automation performance assessments 
• Establish KPIs and metrics demonstrating business value 
• Optimize provisioning workflows for speed and reliability 
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives 

  What You Need to Succeed:  Education & Experience 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 
• 5+ years experience in automation engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering 
• 1+ years in leadership roles managing technical teams 
• Proven experience with SaaS product development at enterprise scale 
• Experience with multi-tenant architecture and customer onboarding processes 

Technical Skills 

• Cloud Platforms: Expert-level proficiency in AWS, Azure
  • Deep understanding of provisioning APIs and resource management 
  • Cloud cost optimization strategies 
• Infrastructure as Code: Advanced experience with:
  • Terraform 
  • Ansible for configuration management 
  • Modular and reusable template design 
• Programming Languages:
  • Python, Go, or similar languages 
  • Automation framework development 
  • API integration solutions 
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes 
• CI/CD Tools: Github Actions, Jenkins, Rundeck, Azure Devops 
• Familiarity with Azure foundry and AI apps such as RAG based setups. 

SaaS & Platform Expertise

• Multi-tenancy and microservices architecture patterns 
• API design and management (REST, GraphQL, API gateways) 
• Database provisioning automation (SQL and NoSQL) 
• Data isolation and security requirements understanding 

Leadership & Communication

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives 
• Experience influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels 
• Strong project management skills with Agile methodologies 
• Excellent technical communication and documentation skills 
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
