Working Location: Pavillion Damansara Heights


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal guidance and support on a wide range of issues related to cloud computing and regulatory compliance.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate a range of contracts, agreements, and legal documents pertaining to tech services, fundraising, and transactions with customers, partners, and vendors across the region.
  • Monitor and analyze changes in laws and regulations impacting the industry and advise the company on compliance requirements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and operations, to identify and address legal issues throughout the business in the region.
  • Conduct legal research and due diligence to assess risks and opportunities associated with new business initiatives and partnerships.
  • Manage disputes, litigation, and legal proceedings involving the company in the region, working with external counsel as needed.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure legal and ethical business conduct across the region.
  • Assist in Project legal and due diligence matters for the assessment of investment opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Degree from an accredited law school and called to Bar in Singapore or Malaysia.
  • 5–10 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on technology and corporate law. Experience in fundraising and investment-related legal matters well regarded.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud computing, data privacy laws, cybersecurity, and related regulatory frameworks in Singapore and the region.
  • Strong negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
