About the role

HKC UNITY SDN BHD', a leading construction and engineering firm, is seeking a talented Project Engineer to join our team in Sitiawan Perak. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of a variety of civil and structural engineering projects. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding projects that have a direct impact on the company's growth and success.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervise and coordinate the execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety standards
  2. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to develop and implement project plans
  3. Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and identify and resolve any issues that arise
  4. Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and other project documentation
  5. Ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule
  6. Provide technical support and guidance to project teams
  7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and practices

What we're looking for

  1. A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field
  2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a project engineering role, preferably in the construction industry
  3. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and project documents
  4. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  6. Familiarity with project management software and tools
  7. Commitment to safety and quality standards
  8. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
