Role Description

We are seeking a full-time local Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join our team at Peninsula Private School, located in Selangor, Malaysia. Responsibilities include developing comprehensive lesson plans, delivering engaging and effective mathematics lessons, assessing and monitoring student progress, and participating in school events and initiatives. The teacher will also foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and learning while adhering to the school's academic standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and Mathematics Education
  • Experience in Lesson Planning and curriculum development
  • Certified or Qualified Teacher status with a relevant teaching qualification
  • Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with students
  • Passion for teaching and promoting a love of learning in students
  • Prior experience in teaching secondary school students is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related discipline is required
