Position Overview

Lenovo is seeking an
Application Support Engineer
to maintain and optimize its business-related applications. The ideal candidate will handle application operations, resolve technical incidents quickly, and ensure smooth daily system performance. This role requires a proactive, analytical professional who thrives in fast-paced technical environments and can collaborate across teams to deliver reliable system support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for business-critical applications.
  • Rapidly diagnose and resolve system failures to minimize business impact.
  • Address user inquiries and requests with timely, accurate solutions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and resolve application-related issues.
  • Support on-call or nightshift operations as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in
    Information Management & Information Systems, Computer Science
    , or related fields.

Experience:

  • 1–3 years
    of experience in
    Java, Oracle, or SQL
    development or support.
  • Database management experience is preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and driving technical discussions to resolution.
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Fast learner with an ability to understand new systems and business processes.
  • Fluent in
    English
    (working language); proficiency in
    Mandarin
    is an advantage.
  • Willingness to support
    nightshift/on-call
    duties when required.
