Job Description

  • Evaluate existing processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Perform daily machine checks and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment functionality.
  • Monitor the performance of wet scrubber systems and address any deviations from operational standards.
  • Conduct regular maintenance schedules in accordance with established procedures and timelines.
  • Develop and enforce safety procedures and work instructions to promote a safe working environment.
  • Troubleshoot operational abnormalities and perform root cause analysis to identify effective solutions.
  • Recommend countermeasures and develop work instructions to resolve production and process issues.
  • Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) policies and procedures.
  • Perform engineering analysis aimed at reducing downtime and improving overall operational effectiveness.
  • Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives to increase the company's competitiveness.
  • Optimize manpower utilization and enhance employee skillsets through training and capability development.
  • Drive innovation in design and production processes to minimize costs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Provide technical support to resolve production and quality-related issues efficiently.
  • Apply experience in process design, including the development of design bases, philosophies, equipment specifications, and component sizing.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing and R&D teams to plan and execute production strategies and activities.
  • Deliver engineering and technical support to align with customer requirements and expectations.
  • Prepare technical proposals, including equipment specifications, cost estimations, and technical drawings.
  • Manage project documentation and proposals, including cost analysis, drawing preparation, and coordination with top management for successful execution.
  • Foster effective communication across all organizational levels and adapt to various working environments.
  • Support and contribute to the implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by immediate superiors and the management team.

Required Qualifications / Experience

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or relevant field)
  • Salary and benefits will be determined based on the candidate's experience and will be disclosed during the interview process
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or relevant field).
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
