About the role

The Assistant Business Development Manager role is a critical position within KLENCO (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD.', a full-time role based in Shah Alam - Subang Selangor. You will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies to drive growth and expansion for the company across the Sales Representatives/Consultants industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and strategic partnerships
  2. Managing and nurturing a portfolio of existing clients to drive repeat business and upsell opportunities
  3. Collaborating with the sales team to develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns
  4. Providing sales support and guidance to team members to help them achieve their individual and team goals
  5. Analysing market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform business development strategies
  6. Preparing and presenting sales proposals, pitches, and client presentations
  7. Ensuring accurate recording and reporting of all sales activities and pipeline data

What we're looking for

  1. 3-5 years of proven experience in a sales or business development role, preferably within the Sales Representatives/Consultants industry
  2. Strong understanding of the Sales Representatives/Consultants market and the ability to identify and capitalise on new opportunities
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  4. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
  5. Familiarity with sales strategies, CRM tools, and customer relationship management best practices
  6. Degree in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, or Sales Management
