We are seeking a skilled Clerk of Work (COW) specializing in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) to join our team. As a COW, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of M&E projects by overseeing construction activities, monitoring progress, and upholding quality standards and safety regulations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise M&E construction projects, including installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections to assess work quality, identify deficiencies, and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to address technical issues, resolve conflicts, and implement corrective actions.
  • Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
  • Prepare detailed reports documenting construction progress, deviations from plans, and any issues encountered.
  • Keep record of documentation such as QAQC, Material Approval and Work Method Statement.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials, equipment, and labor used on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to project planning and coordination efforts.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders and communicate well with team members.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality work within established timelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM1, RM3,000.00 per month
