Key Responsibilities

1. Production & Process Management

  • Plan and execute daily production tasks to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Assign machines and manpower efficiently according to shift production plans.
  • Monitor production progress, troubleshoot process issues, and take corrective actions promptly.
  • Support process setup, parameter adjustment, and product trial runs.
  • Ensure smooth operation of assigned production lines and timely completion of schedules.

2. Quality & Process Control

  • Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure conformity with drawings and quality standards.
  • Analyze defects (e.g., flash, warpage, dimensional deviation) and work with technicians/QC to resolve root causes.
  • Maintain defect rate within target limits and ensure adherence to process standards and documentation.

3. Equipment, Mold & Tooling Maintenance

  • Oversee daily machine and tooling maintenance, ensuring all equipment runs in optimal condition.
  • Report abnormalities or breakdowns and follow up on repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Support preventive maintenance, mold/die cleaning, and efficient mold or tooling changeovers.

4. Material & Resource Control

  • Verify correct usage of materials (e.g., plastic resin, metal sheets, casting alloys) according to production requirements.
  • Control material wastage, manage auxiliary materials and packaging usage, and maintain accurate records.

5. Team Leadership & Training

  • Supervise operators and junior technicians to ensure discipline, efficiency, and quality workmanship.
  • Conduct on-the-job training for new or existing employees to enhance technical and safety skills.
  • Lead daily/weekly briefings to address production issues and promote improvement ideas.

6. Safety & 5S Management

  • Enforce strict compliance with safety procedures and ensure all protective devices are functional.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and immediately rectify potential hazards.
  • Maintain 5S standards in the work area (cleanliness, orderliness, proper labeling, and waste management).

7. Cross-Department Coordination

  • Communicate effectively with Planning, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams on production schedules, equipment issues, and quality matters.
  • Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • High school education or above; candidates with mechanical, manufacturing, or technical knowledge are preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of production experience in Injection Molding, Stamping, Die Casting, Machining (CNC/EDM/Wire-Cut), or Deburring.
  • At least 2 years of team leader or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiar with production processes, machine operation, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Able to read and understand work instructions or technical drawings.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • High sense of responsibility, safety awareness, and teamwork.
  • Willing to work rotational shifts and perform overtime when required.
