Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Field Engineer, located in Bayan Lepas, Penang. The Project Field Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting and providing technical support, managing field services, and overseeing project management and involves in multi scales of projects - standalone control system, facilities control system in terms of PLC/SCADA configurations & Engineering scope. Day-to-day tasks include resolving technical issues, coordinating with team members and clients, conducting field visits, and ensuring the successful execution of projects.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Troubleshooting and Technical Support
  • Effective Communication abilities
  • Experience in Field Service operations
  • Proficiency in Project Management
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Relevant certifications or degrees in Engineering or related fields
  • Previous experience in a similar FMCS, BMS or automation controls role is a plus
  • experiences in Greenfield or retrofit projects are preferred.
  • experiences in various PLC & SCADA programming are mandatory.
