About the role

The Solution Architect is responsible for designing, validating, and overseeing the implementation of complex technical solutions that address critical business challenges. This role requires strategic problem-solving, structured analysis, and the ability to guide teams through ambiguity using evidencebased decision-making and consulting methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Apply hypothesis-driven problem-solving to analyze technical challenges and accelerate decisionmaking.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify root causes, and challenge assumptions.

• Hands on development and integration in Java

• Design scalable, secure solutions aligned with business goals using structured frameworks (MECE, issue trees).

• Validate solutions through prototypes, benchmarks, and feasibility studies.

• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and facilitate decisions using frameworks like RACI.

• Promote continuous improvement and iterative learning within project teams.

• Coaching and guiding developers in the team when necessary

Qualifications

Must Have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in solution architecture.

• Demonstrated experience with structured problem-solving and hypothesis-driven consulting methodologies.

• Deep understanding of Java, Amazon Web Services and/or other cloud platforms, integration patterns, and security best practices.

• Familiarity with decision frameworks, RACI to clarify roles, responsibilities, and accelerate critical choices.

Good to have:

• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, TOGAF) are a plus.

• Architecting using The Open Group Architecture Framework (9.2) and ArchiMate Language 3.2 or better is considered a significant plus.

Soft Skills:

• Demonstrating a growth mindset is mandatory.

• Ability to break down complex problems using structured frameworks (MECE, issue trees) and focus on high-impact areas.

• Experience with hypothesis-driven approaches, balancing structured analysis with exploratory thinking to avoid bias and encourage creativity.

• Strong team player and strong collaboration skills

• Strong written and verbal skills for documenting solutions, solution options.

• Strong facilitation skills to lead workshops and align stakeholders.

• Strong skills in presenting complex topics for a large audience and for the members of the executive leadership team.

Education

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
