We're Hiring: Senior Executive – MTDC Academy

Location: UPM-MTDC Technology Centre III, Universiti Putra Malaysia

Division: Technology Ecosystem Development (TED)

Are you passionate about building Malaysia's innovation talent ecosystem? Join MTDC as a Senior Executive – MTDC Academy, where you'll lead the design and execution of impactful training programmes, strengthen strategic partnerships, and shape the capabilities of future technology-driven companies in Malaysia.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and implement customised talent development programmes that meet the unique needs of clients and ecosystem companies.
  • Conduct needs assessments and develop tailored content such as workshops, coaching sessions, and learning modules.
  • Engage stakeholders throughout programme development to ensure alignment with client goals and MTDC objectives.
  • Oversee programme delivery including trainer selection, learning methods, and evaluation metrics to ensure impactful outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strategic networks with ministries, agencies, universities, and industry experts to enhance programme reach and effectiveness.
  • Strengthen MTDC's brand reputation by driving programme accreditation and compliance with recognised standards such as HRDCorp, MBOT, and SLDN.
  • Oversee the implementation of approved projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met, while preparing progress and final reports for stakeholders.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in learning and development, training management, or talent development roles.
  • Basic knowledge on technical skills and knowledge (TVET, STEM Education)
  • Proven experience in programme design, stakeholder management, and accreditation processes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and build cross-sector partnerships to scale learning initiatives.
