Cashier and Server

As the front of house of a bakery, your main responsibility is to greet & serve customers, process their purchases, and ensure they have a positive shopping experience. Some specific duties may include:
1) Operating cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems to process customer orders and handle payment transactions.
2) Operating simple kitchen equipment like automated coffee machines and ovens to reheat and prepare bread/pastries and coffee
3) Answering customer questions about bakery products, including ingredients, availability, and pricing.
4) Handling customer complaints and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
5) Bagging and packaging bakery items for customers.
6) Maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, including the cash register, display cases, and other customer-facing areas.
7) Assisting with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels in the bakery.
8) Collaborating with other bakery staff, including bakers and kitchen assistants, to ensure seamless operations and timely customer service.
To succeed in this role, you should have strong communication and customer service skills, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and be able to handle cash and electronic payment transactions accurately and efficiently. Some experience working in a retail or customer service setting may be helpful, but is not always required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: RM1, RM2,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 45 per week
